In a tennis grand slam first, the 2022 Australian Open was part of the metaverse - the creatively named 😉, AO metaverse. Headlining the AO Metaverse Closing party was legendary Australian DJ, DJ Tigerlily. DJ Tigerlily asked for our help in creating her metaverse performance, utilising our green screen technology and production.
While the brief seemed relatively straightforward, every event always throws a curveball for our production team and this one was no different! Balancing the studio lights and reflective surface of the DJ decks against the green screen required some ingenious thinking from our technical team, but luckily they were up to the task and captured DJ Tigerlily crushing it, with no distracting reflective lighting.
